Welcome to ZipCode Wellness

WHO ARE WE?

I am Rudd Rayns, the Founder of ZipCode Wellness and a local resident of New York.  I am a certified Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach.  My wife, Faithe Rayns, holds a Masters in Coaching Psychology.  Together, we created ZipCode Wellness to focus on building holistically healthier communities one zip code at a time.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

We deeply believe that a place or a person should always be better off for having you in it.  The purpose of ZipCode Wellness is to give back.  Yes, we provide group fitness classes, personal training and nutrition coaching services but we want to support activities that will help us grow as a community.  Please drop us a line using the link below if you'd like to join or have us support an event.  We also believe that being the best version of you is a balancing act.  There is only one life for each of us, so having fun and enjoying what you do, whether you're working out or not, is really important to us.

WHAT WE DO

ZipCode Wellness focusses on goals designed around the whole you. We use coaching psychology principles to unlock the mindset and motivation in each of our clients to achieve their goals. We help you discover what matters to you, and what will matter to you throughout your program, and then have you set and measure the goals that will get you results. Of course we do that by having fun along the way!

What makes a healthy community?

The World Health Organization established a broad definition of health that highlights the connection between health and community:

"Health is a state of physical, mental and social wellbeing and not merely the absence of disease ...."

A healthy community is one in which all residents have access to a quality education, safe and healthy homes, adequate employment, transportation, physical activity, and nutrition, in addition to quality health care (Ashby, 2012).
